The translators attached to the Special
Branch cannot place any meaning in the characters Nam
Chim of Nam Chim Sh'e (Sh'e means society) but on one
of the society's chops (91) it is seen that there is in
English:- "Shanghai Office, 1936 the Nai Shze Club of
China" and one cannot help but think of Nazi when seeing
Nai-Shze. However, in the constitutions of the
Society 91 it says the object of this society shall
be co-operation, mutual aid and mutual guidance.

91 is a list of members and officials of
the Head Society dated 1938. It is seen that David
Kuhg is president. There are branches in Shanghai,
Hongkong, Kweiyang and Chungking.
To shew that persons connected with the
assassination squads concerned with the attempted
assassinations of "puppets" are also members of this

was 20 years of age.

H.K. addresses are given. The man CHA PO YIN (or IN)
mentioned in 3) as the man responsible for the coding
and decoding of secret messages referring to the
assassination business in (1) and 2) is a member of
the Hongkong branch. His Hongkong address is given as
No.3 Knutsford Terrace, Kimberley Road. Several other
members are down as libing at the same address.
It is therefore shevm that several persons
connected with the conducting of assassinations are at
the same time members of the Nam Chim Sh'e.
The military authorities are also interested
in several files containing secret documents found at
this address, and while I am aware that this case is of
such a nature that the Hongkong Government deem it
